Where's the best place to buy one of these if you had to use the one that came with the car?

Any recommendations? The one I used was Holts and it did the job well.

Used that stuff twice, according to the instructions. First time it didn't work on a screw, second time it sealed a bad split and held up long enough to get off the motorway.

Mercedes wanted over €100 for a replacement, but to be fair does contain about double the weight of stuff as is in a large can - or at least it seems to.

Where? Any local motor factors will have that stuff.

Any motor factors should have them as mentioned. You'd even get them in a Tesco.
