    Hi Folks,

I know it's a bit of a 'How long is a piece of string' question but... the dishwasher panel isn't lighting up and nothing seems to be happening. I have no idea what the cost of getting one repaired is. We've had it almost 10 years. Are they economical enough to repair or are you better of just getting a new unit?

Replace. Most white goods are built for 'planned obsolescence' of about 7 years.

If you are good at diy check along the bottom edge of the door panel where you should see the wiring loom,if you get that far inspect the individual cables for breaks as the cable becomes brittle with age. If you find a break a simple repair joint should have it up and running that’s assuming you have power going to the machine. This is common in older machines.
