Insurance repair delays, any recourse available?

Not sure if this belongs here or the insurance forum, mod please move if you feel appropriate.
Back in February my car's handbrake slipped and it rolled down my hill driveway into a pillar damaging the rear bumper leaving significant but only cosmetic damage. Contacted my insurance company to claim for repair after a bit of flapping with organising an independent assessor as well as their preferred repair shop quote, (got compensated €100 for the delay)the claim was finally approved and a date for the end of March scheduled. Then Covid-19 hit and the shop closed the week before it was due in.
Fair enough, kept an eye on their social media and saw they were reopening at the end of May. Great, they'll be in touch to reschedule. End of their first week open and I was the one who called them and it seemed as if I'd been put back to the end of the queue as they booked me in for the end of June.
Week before the due date and I get a message that the parts have been delayed by 10 working days and they'll be in touch to reschedule.
Today, about 3 weeks later, I called for an update and was told that the parts were in but they were so busy that they can't fit me in until the end of August.
Frustrated doesn't even begin to cover how I'm feeling right now. Thankfully the nct isn't due until next January otherwise I would be using it as potential leeway.
Is there any civilised course of action open to me? I don't "name and shame" because that might come back to bite me in the arse. Carrying a crash dent in my rear bumper from February to September though....
Can I go back to the insurance company to start the claim again with another repair shop?

    This too shall pass.

    Ask the insurer I'd suggest.

p.s. Why didn't you leave the car in gear on a hill?

A mistake I've not repeated since. I can assure you.
