Have some thistles under the electric fence dividing fields and some are gone to seed at this stage. Rest of the field is clear as they have been topped but can't get under the wire with the topper. Will thistlex work. I know they should have been sprayed earlier but they weren't.

Ya, I sprayed mine too with Grazon Pro recently and I was wondering the same thing. The seed bulbs are there still. I was wondering if the seeds are dead in them !!!

Do they look to be dying off? I'm wondering should I just cut with the strimmer and get the regrowth which will be painful. Much easier to spray now if it would work.

These heads haven't opened, but they do look like they changed colour. Thing is - I don't know if the seeds inside are still alive, as it were.

If there gone to seed and purple flower on top best bet is the shovel and dig them out you’ll kill the plant but the seeds will spread and you’ll have even more next year
