2010 Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.2 petrol opinions?

Hello, a friend of mine is looking to potentially buy a 10/11 fiesta and just wondered what your thoughts may be? The garage has a few fiestas and look fairly tidy. Are they uk imports? Price reasonable? They are mainly looking for something reliable. Any feedback much appreciated.

We have one of those Fiestas in the house for several years. It’s a good car, has caused very little trouble, just routine servicing needed really. Ours is a relatively high miler (ex rental) but hasn’t missed a beat. My wife uses it for a short commute and the usual running around with kids, car does less that 10k km per year.

Price of that one you linked looks a bit steep to me

There's a not a bad car, probably the best of all it's rivals. The 1.2 Yahama engine in it is quite reliable. Just do the usual checks on whatever you buy. There's always lemons out there.

Why don't they import one from the North?

Here is a similar 2012 model, VRT is around 1k so your looking at 6k for one that's a year younger than the one you linked:
