    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas around this.

Yesterday I noticed that the fan controls were no longer working in my car, the ac button also.
Assuming it was a fuse but was looking them up earlier and from what i can see on this website
    https://fuse-box.info/seat/seat-toledo-mk4-nh-2012-2018-fuses/amp#2016
any of the few I checked looked fine.

I also noticed that my fuse box looks like the 2015 model from that site despite my car being a 162 so not sure how reliable the site is.

Anyone ever use it before or have any ideas what else might cause something like that to happen?

    Thanks in advance!

I would imagine the ac button won’t work unless the fan is running. Assuming it’s manual switches and not climate control.

I wouldn’t rule out your car having sat unsold for a while before it was registered either, but use whichever diagram works for your car. Also check the relay for the fan.

    Thanks for that.

I just noticed last night that the headlights aren't working either (the dipped beams)
Hoping and assuming it's all the same issue. However I checked a number of the fuses and all seem to be fine, so getting a little worried it might be a bigger issue.

    Fingers crossed.

Or and with your last paragraph, I assumed that was the issue alright (car sitting before being registered!)

    Thanks again.

    Alternator belt snapped maybe?

Is the battery light coming on?

    Nope,

Everything seems to be perfectly normal outside of that........

    Wiring all look intact?
Did the car get water damage before

To rule out a coincidence, change one of the bulbs.

    No water damage before.
Was no problem on Friday morning, then Friday afternoon realised the fans were gone.
Didn't notice the lights at the time as it was day time, but was in it yesterday evening and noticed they were gone too.

I will try get my hands on a replacement bulb and try that though, just in case!

Really just assumed it was as simple as a fuse, but unless that link I posted earlier is wrong, then seems to be more than that!

Most likely heater blower resistor is gone and needs replacing in relation to your fans not working.
