Biohackers, new German language show from Netflix, trailer is great might show a bit too much.

From THC chips to genetic enhancements, welcome to the world of Biohacking. When “Mia” (Luna Wedler) begins her medical degree, she seems like any other student. But when she gains the trust of the brilliant Professor Lorenz (Jessica Schwarz), it becomes apparent that she’s hiding a secret so big it could change the fate of humanity. From the director of Girlboss (Christian Ditter) comes a thriller that will make you question the makeup of life itself. Biohackers - Streaming on Netflix from August 20.

Another teenage girl protagonist, man Netflix can't get enough. I think I'm at an age now where any lead character under a certain age bracket just makes me look elsewhere. Like, the premise and story seem legitimately interesting, but I'm immediately turned off by the undercurrent of "young adults discover LIFE while discovering ... THEMSELVES". At least being a Euro production the cast don't look universally beautiful (ala the CW)

Seen some articles about this show mentioning Dark. Think everyone will be disappointed if they think Germany + Netflix will be another Dark

Started this today and only had time for one episode. Undecided to be honest so far but will continue it. It's only 6 episodes also, so not too long.

Watched the first two episodes so far, not bad.

Finished it there earlier. Not bad sums it up. Average really. Watchable as it is so short. I'll watch a second season if there is one but won't be waiting on it anxiously.

I found it quite enjoyable. It's more like a short story than anything substantial.
Not too many high points but has a nice flow. The couple of clips of the train scene two weeks in the future of the story added to the intrigue nicely.
The best scene I thought was when Emma just left Tanja's home ( early in ep5 ), after messaging her ego and so negating her suspicions, Emma turned to thank Tanja again, reinforcing her ego. Delighted, Tanja acknowledged it without comment and without pause or apparent guilt at what she had done for her scientific progress. The end justifies the means. She is unscrupulous in her endeavours.
