Thanks Cannco253. Link seems to be broken. Would you mind reposting.

Any particular type of home charger recommended for the Enyaq? Or does it matter what type?

Not a whole lot to get excited about. Or anything at all. Very very minor DC charging speed bump (extra 10kW). Maybe a better charging curve, but not mentioned.

The curve must be better to. VW are saying it will knock 9 minutes off of a 5-80% charge of the big battery ID.4

How are people enjoying the car?

Thinking km buying it. Do you know if different dealers do different prices and delivery times? Or is it the same

I was told November yesterday when enquiring about lead time on an Enyaq.

Love it. Can't fault the car so far, it's beautiful to drive and very quiet and comfortable.

If you don't have one ordered you won't see one this year unless you're lucky and get a cancelled order (which I did)

Was told November just this weekend.

Depends on each dealer and what allocation they might already have in the queue I think.

Hoping my July delivery holds firm

I ordered in November and I was told April/ May.

    Hi all,

some Qs about software on the Enyaq.

are (m)any of you on a version higher than 0792? What version number?

did this happen OTA or at dealer/service center? Or car delivered recently with higher version?

read that owners may need to have one update performed by dealer/service in order to have future OTA updates, at least for Enyaqs delivered mid 2021.

    any/all info appreciated!

I dont have an Enyaq but the numbering looks the same as the rest of the MEB cars (ID.3 etc).

The versions for those on ID cars are...

    0783 = v2.0 (i think)

0792 = v2.1 (enabled OTA, so it was a dealer visit for early cars)

0910 = v2.3 (received via OTA in ID cars)

XXXX = v3.0 (next big update and it will be a dealer visit)

Not sure how Skoda are rolling out OTA updates but in theory your car on v2.1 should be able to install v2.3 OTA once Skoda decide to push it to your car. You cant initiate it from the car itself (at least not in the VW's anyway, so I suspect Skoda is the same).

Ordered mine in the middle of November. I was originally told March/April for delivery. I spoke with the dealer yesterday to see if there was any update. Still haven't been allocated a build date, he said there's alot delays as the plant was closed for an extended period over Xmas and because of the shortage of semiconductors chips. So I'm not expecting to see mine until May/June. To be honest I'd nearly prefer to have it delivered in July at this stage.

BundE34 I'm only a few weeks behind you and I was told it would be July/August, branch manager is my parents neighbour and didn't want to give me false hope.

There isn't really an equivalent. You have to build it on the Skoda website. Choose the battery size that suits you and add the packs then that would be the same as the ambient.

Picked up Enyaq iV80 this week. 212 reg. Had been told November for a new one so went around the corner and bought it nearly new from a dealer that took one in last week. Don’t get the specific options you might pick yourself but waiting 6-9 months for a car is not something I’d have the willpower for. Also would change my mind 4 times during those months.

Anyone got either of these colour specs and wouldn't mind sharing some pictures? I've ordered arctic silver, regulus wheels, no chrome. Build week in June, delivery in July. First time ordering a brand new car, don't want to get it wrong. Thinking of changing

Ordered our Enyaq SportLine 80 early November from a dealership in Kildare. The salesperson told me it was entered in system as order accepted but has not been allocated a built week! Find it shocking. As if though the car market has become one of the salespersons. They dictate and we have to beg and listen and hope we'll hear back from them!

It’d the factory, nothing to do with the sakes person.

brexit , Covid and semi conductor shortage has caused the perfect storm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 862 ✭✭✭regedit

    You're right ted.

If I were a salesman I would keep the communication open, transparent etc instead of a very vague: 'Sorry, nothing yet. I'll let you know once I hear something. People appreciate that.

I see quite a few ID4s around and very few Enyaq's so it must be that VW isn't hit as bad as Škoda is (or, alternatively that people ordred way more early last year)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,868 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

ID4 was available in a couple of weeks when I looked at it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,224 ✭✭✭Jofspring

The first round of ID4's got in before the shortages. The Enyaq came out nearly a year later I think so ran straight into the shortages. My father had to wait 5 months for his ID4. People are waiting 6 months plus for theirs so similar issues to Enyaq.

You'll probably start to see it with the Ioniq 5 and EV6 next after the first run are all sold out.

    Hi iV80 owners,

What does your iV80 typically report for max range (if you hypothetically charged to 100%) or what does say 80% charge get you in range?

Does the reported max range change over time in the Enyaq, say based on type of recent driving or based on conditions e.g. cold in the winter?

    thanks!
