Do any car enthuasists actually use meet and greet parking companies at airports and the like?

This has made the news recently in the UK for parking company near Birmingham airport:

I know some of the more unscrupulous companies park the cars on residential estates and move them every few days. I have also seen first hand at another airport how some of the staff treat customers cars

After seeing how Quick Park treat their VIP cars, and customers, I won't be using anything like them for my car, again! It's bad enough having to worry about the idiot parking next to you hitting your car, having a complete stranger driving it is too risky.

I've used valet parking for hire cars though.

I used see one particular group at a UK airport who used not treat customers cars well on a regular basis driving cars hard for example on the journey to/from the terminal building.

Another issue that I noticed was that they would wait until say 4 customer cars were ready to drive to the compound and they would go in convoy.

When they would get there, 3 cars were parked and the 3 drivers would hop in one of the customer cars and all 4 would return back to the terminal building in the car so that the cycle would be repeated for the next lot of customer cars. Obviously one of the customer cars would be incurring additional mileage and fuel expenses whilst paying for the privlage.

Why car "enthusiasts" specifically, and not car owners in general??

Generally car enthuasists will have a well cared for car and want to keep it that way where as some car owners may be driven by price of parking alone (depending on the age/condition of the car).

Look at the tyres, paint, windows and service history of most cars and you'll see why it's only enthusiasts that the OP is asking about.
