hi all, i was just wondering what materials would usually have to bring to an avarage lecture? is it usually just laptop, and a copy and stationary?

Yeah usually just a copy, stationary and your laptop. Some lecturers don’t want you using a laptop in their lectures but they’ll let you know in the first few days.

Generally this is what I'd bring and if the lecturer doesn't mind I will record the lecture on my phone to fill the gaps in my notes or flesh something out more in my notes when I get a chance. Most lecturers don't give a toss if you record or not but if you intend to, I'd ask, out of courtesy. I make it clear I will be deleting the recording as soon as I've completed my notes.
