    Trying to find hotels with 2 bedroom suites. Found one in Galway but it’s booked out for the summer.

    Not a lot comes up when googling so wondering if anyone on here knows of any?

    Don’t really care where in Ireland it is, just looking to book a break with family (3 kids, 3, 6 and 8) fir a couple of nights.

    Thanks

    Not much availability, but these can cater for 5 (whether its two Bedroom or One large one, some just have Large Rooms, some have Suites etc), my 3 are of similar age;

    Clonakilty Park Hotel - Large Rooms that can cater for 5
    Gleneagles - Killarney - Large Rooms that can cater for 5
    Connacht Hotel - Galway - Both Rooms that can cater for 5 and 2 BR Suites
    Amber Springs - Gorey - Very Large Rooms and Suites (Family Suites classed as 1 BedRoom, but the kids area is really in a different Room with no door)

    All are very Family orientated Hotels and everything is still running but altered slightly for Covid. All (Haven't checked Amber Springs) still have their Kids Clubs/Camps running for July/August, Movies for Kids, Games Rooms, Music in the Evenings etc.

    Interconnecting rooms are probably your best bet over a 2 bed suite. I’d say if you rang most decent hotels have them.

    Hotel Westport has one, as in two individual connected bedrooms (ensuite off one bedroom only) using the one entrance from the hallway. I cannot remember what the divider is though, if any. It is huge, accommodates 6.

    Stayed in a fab hotel in Belfast that had them - huge rooms. Walked through the door thinking it was the en suite and found some fella in a bedroom taking off his underpants in there :0 Dunno who ran faster!!

    Midleton Park Hotel, which we've booked for a short stay, have interconnecting rooms.

    +1 for Amber Springs in Gorey. Family Rooms are massive.

    Two bedrooms suites are likely to be few and far between.

    We had an awful experience in Amber Springs - appalling place Nd wouod not recommend it at all. After I checked the reviews online and at least half of them were saying the same things as I did - avoid like the plague IMO this place seems to have been good once but has totally gone to the dogs.

    OP - what about renting a mobile home for a week or fortnight if its the kids you want to cater for - they will at least be in their own rooms, be covid-19 self contained and in a family friendly low cost outdoor setting that leaves you adult space, somewhere to hang out together where you won’t have to be putting you hand in your pocket every time you sit down and good 1980’s healthy family craic with lots of wide open spaces to run free in and other families nearby if you want to socialise but not too close!!
    You could also cater /take away all food in so you wouldn’t have to cook or pay hotel prices every time you hd a meal.

    What happened? I've been 3 times (pre-covid) with no complaints...
