    ‪5:30 Dundalk ‬

‪Surely Monarch of Egypt is an very uncertain stayer here . He is far too short and Nobel Prize need only slightly improve to look a huge price in this race. He can’t go off 10/1 as he easily looks 2nd best against a doubtful stayer . ‬

    ‪3 Pts win 10/1 gen ‬

    Lukoutoldmakezebak 28-1 3.55

I like this for a place at least. ALways run an honest race, and this looks
    a weak enough field
    Consistent for a 28-1 shot

Thought Lope Y Fernández was interesting if you forgave his last run.

Come on any horse other than Pinatubo. Sickened seeing these deserved short priced favs often going off at half the price/or less than they
should be. 2/5 is a joke.

Lukoutoldmakezebak is very appealing each way at 25s gen like another poster said. Same trainer though has the well backed 6/1 2nd fav
Bawaader in the race. Hopefully Harrison Shaw's mount gives his true running in the Hamilton 3.55 race.

Sickened seeing favorites being way shorter than they should be?
I'm usually delighted to see a fav that I believe is to short.

I agree, from the point of view that I rarely back favs.

I think the books perhaps shorten them 'artificially' just to get people to lump on, as if it's just a buying money proposition. From that point of view it's sickening.

It's good though if a few others get pushed out where the second or third favs, in an otherwise competitive race end up a point or so bigger. Not today obviously, was about 10s bar.

In fairness I thought the price was fair enough. I didn't have a bet but he only needed to run to the form of any of the races he has run this year to win it. People might not like him as he has fluffed his lines but he has still run to a high level in defeat.

Even money now Monarch of Egypt can't resist that. Even with the stamina doubts.
