Right time to buy?

I'm looking to buy a 2nd hand car pretty soon as my own one is on its last legs. I was thinking towards the end of the summer but I've been told by many people to wait until 2021 due to expected savings as a result of reduced prices as a result of the market right now.

I'm looking to buy a 2017/18 Volkswagen Tiguan.

My question is, will there be that much difference if I wait in terms of savings? I'll be purchasing with half cash/half finance (bank loan).

    Any advice is appreciated.

Second hand cars are selling well since the lock down was lifted so don't expect much of a drop at the moment. Also crossovers like the Tiguan are trendy and in high demand so again prices will remain strong. As with anything shop around.
