Heading to Kilkenny for the weekend, spotted a lot of restaurants are still doing takeaway only. Don't want to be stuck eating in the hotel, any recommendations?

What type of food do you eat?

John Street: Byrnes, Langtons, Matt the Millers.

High st etc.. Left bank/Rive Gauche, Marble City Bar, Butcher, La Rivista, Paris Texas, Aroi, Zuni

Loads more open, I think prebook is essential in most places

Had an amazing dinner tonight in Aroi, planning now for tomorrow night. Reckon booking is a bigger deal tomorrow.

Kilkenny feels like a ghost town tonight but still had a fabulous meal and no pressure to leave (although we actually were in and out in under 105 minutes). Would have preferred to wait until all pubs were opened but schedules didn't allow.

    Zuni's website said takeaway only?
