Some brands offer this but ours didn't.

Does anyone know of insurance you can buy (separate to the car insurance).

Here's one firm, anyone know any others?

Have you read the FAQs on that website? They are all in Latin and completely nonsensical. I would be wondering if it's legit

There are plenty of dent and scratch repair companies around that don't charge the earth in the event you need them. I think if you're concerned about this kind of thing happening to your car then you might be better off putting a little aside yourself each month instead of looking for an insurance product.

Small chips and dents are relatively inexpensive to fix, for anything bigger you'll probably be going through your own car insurance or that of whomever caused the damage to your car anyway.
