    Wut?

    Mens hair stylist?

    .....

I won't say what we're all thinking but basically, barbers are out.
I have no interest in barbers.

I went to a couple places (stylists) and for all their bluster, they sucked.

Then I did go to one gal who was quite good but, whilst her own style is good, when I request something, she doesn't really do it - as in, I'll ask her "cut it his this direction, this shape etc", lol - nuh.

I pretty much get a fade on the sides, grown out on the top with an angle to the side when combed over - but all the ends "feathered" (is that what it's called?).

It takes some time to get it just right and not just a standard straight cut that looks accordingly - plain.

It's actually not entirely dissimilar to Justin Bieber from way back....

    ...from,

Point being, is there any mens stylist that's recommended in Dublin that could do a reasonable job at this?

Cause there's so many outlets but I have no idea who's good vs bogus etc

    Let me phrase it like this;

Any womens hair stylists that come recommended that would be known to also do shorter womens hairstyles, including shaving the sides if necessary?

Somewhat similar style would be Emma Hewitt,

    Or perhaps vaguely Christina Novelli,

Checked out some prices of hair stylists around Dublin.

    Is this for real?

Do they actually charge that much?

    Before I'd been paying a flat 20.

I always pay about €65 for my cut and blowdry. With longer hair you're also paying for the time it takes to style and dry.

You could try Style Club, they have multiple locations.

Typically how long does getting your hair cut take?

As in, time for mens vs womens cuts, is what I'm curious about.

I used to be in and out fairly quick but, then I started requesting more and more specifics and it started taking longer and longer etc.

There's little doubt I'm being significantly undercharged currently I'm thinking.

45 minutes to an hour including the blow dry. The prices for men might be done on the assumption that it's shorter hair and therefore takes a shorter time to cut and style. I don't know though. Call them and ask.
