This thread isn't a discussion of my personal mental health so I hope the mods don't close it. I came across on various mental health subforums on Reddit I website called "Sanctioned Suicide". I had a look at it and it seems to be a site where people can vent their own mental health issues but also discuss suicide methods.

There was a case last year where a mother spoke out against the website claiming it was responsible for her daughters suicide. link to article here. She is hoping to take legal action against the site.

Is there any legal basis for taking down the site and even prosecuting the creators? As far as I know, the website gives you information on how to go through with it as opposed to actually "egging" anyone on like she claims.

What jurisdiction would it be taken down in if law enforcement where to make an arrest?
