Hi guys, first time getting mortgage here, I got my AIP letter from BOI and noticed there is no expiry date set, is this common or they have a "default" expiry policy after say 12mths? the letter did say whenever I am ready to drawdown I will need to provide most recent payslips and salary cert again.

I got an AIP from BoI a few months ago and it didn't mention an expiry date explicitly, although I know it is 6 months for them.

If you go over that time, they can resubmit again but would need new payslips and salary cert.

Usually 6 months although AIB offer 12 months, ring them to double check. The letter of offer once you go sale agreed on a house is strictly 6 months with a maximum extension of 1 month.
