I’d be looking at a Mercedes E Class hybrid. You’d get a 2018 from the uk with your budget.

Depends on what type of driving you do of course.

I like Jags but the XF seems old to me and from the XE I can say that the 2.0 diesel is pretty unrefined.

Those yokes were launched before the flood. I'd be liking at the Benz hybrid or a Lexus.

Just beware, a UK owner of a 4 year old C-350e just faced an out of warranty battery bill of £12,000...

Have you any interest in a CLS Mercedes or you could get a 2014 Jaguar XJ 3.0L and are super rare.

Personally not a fan of the interior of the XF.

E Class is a good option but they didn’t make a hybrid in 2018

E350 plug in hybrid came out in 2016 and was on sale in the UK by 2017.

Apologies my mistake - never saw a the E350e before but looked now on autotrader- I was thinking the diesel E300de was the only hybrid in the current shape E class. Not a car you’d find in Ireland I’d say but probably worth importing

Those E350e’s in UK look v interesting- good performance and not too dear used - imagine they will have v low VRT like the 530e. Wonder what size the boot is?

Going back to the XF I’ve come close to buying one myself and although they handle great and still look well they do a bit past it now. The 25d is a great car to drive - AWD and 240bhp twin turbo. That 2017 seems a bit dear

Dislike the red interior, could make it marmite at sale time.

    Lovely looking machines though outside.

Usually a fan of red leather but looks wrong in this Jag IMO

You will get a Volvo S90 for similar money which is way more modern and feels more upmarket especially on the inside.

The VRT on them is tiny.
