So I have a 2011 1.2tdi VW Polo for myself for going to work, got it on finance 18 months ago.
Due to the recent nox charge its worth more than I currently owe on it.
It hasn't done 100km since mid March due to working from home and things will remain the same for the rest of this year with the possibility of a couple of days a week commuting after that.
Paying a couple of hundred a month for the Polo so I can look out the window at it. We have our main family car if I need to go anywhere.
But I have a 94 Audi 80 wagon in storage. I was thinking of getting rid of the Polo, making a little profit and putting the Audi 80 back on the road for the odd time I need a car and the wife is gone in the other car.

Anyone else thinking of getting rid?

How easy will it be to get the Audi 80 NCT'd and back on the road? Try insurance quotes first to see what the damage will be, could easily wipe out any profit you make on the Polo very quickly.

No worries there, insurance isn't a problem for me and the Audi drove to where it is.
Only a couple of hundred miles since last test and in my 7 years of ownership it has passed the test first time each year without any prep by just keeping up to date with regular maintenence throughout the year. Should need minimal work to get back on the road.
