Covid payment mistake - got paid it and supplement.

So I was on the 350 payment.

I then started working again with the Covid supplement.

Didnt' realise that the original Covid payment was still going into my account - thought, for some reason, that because the company were receiving the money now, that it would automatically end the 350 payment from welfare.

Looked at my bank statement yesterday and saw Covid payment in there. Went back through statement and I've been getting the Covid and the supplement.

I cancelled my Covid payment online immediately but what do I do now?

How do I repay the money to welfare?


Honest mistake and want to rectify before someone comes looking for it and it that it looks like I did it purposefully.


It's about 4 / 5 weeks of payments.

There's a section on the my welfare portal that advises how to repay any amounts paid in error
