Health Service Pension and AVC's

Hi all, I hope everyone is keeping well and staying safe.

I have recently retired on medical grounds. I have received a small lump sum and pension from the Health Service as I did not have many years service (about 12).

When I could afford I paid into an AVC work group scheme which would be linked to this pension.

I have just received my AVC options, and it seems I am restricted in what I can do because it is a group scheme and linked. I had hoped that I could draw down 25% and put the remainder into an ARF but I have been told that I must take a lump sum and annuity or full annuity as I done similar with my main scheme.

Anyone in the know on this, any help would be great ?
