Making application for Join-Family Visa..

    Hi,

    Can someone confirm if a spouse can submit an application for Join-Family visa while being an international student in the UK (if this can be done, what amount of visa, in months, must be valid before Join-Family visa can be made), or it must be made from home country (country of permanent residence outside EU) after finishing her studies and returning to home country.

    No bar on her applying from the UK as she is a legal resident there.

    The Join Family visa is likely to take at least a year to process.

    If she has to leave the UK and return home before the visa is processed, make sure that you update the visa office, and that she can access her post in case they send correspondence to her UK address.
