Getting a vehicle with an expired CVRT to a test centre

I've checked the CVRT website and I know that it's illegal to drive a vehicle which requires a CVRT without one. What I can't see is if you can drive it to or from the test centre, I assume that you can't but would like to see it written somewhere.

I'm looking at some vehicles which require CVRT and need to figure out if I need to hire a wagon to transport it if I buy one which is expired.

Under Section 5 of the Road Safety Authority (Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Act) 2012, it is an offence to use a commercial vehicle on the public road without a valid CRW.
A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable on summary conviction to a class A fine.

This would encompass driving it to the centre, I don't think you can find that written.
Did you try to ring the centre and ask?

I don't like ringing places because usually the person who answers has less knowledge than me. The thing is I know that you can't drive to the test centre I'd just like to see the legislation which says you can't but I can't find it. But it looks like they don't give it in plain English like the NCT
