I got a kit to retrofit sensors.

Looking on line it says that the bumper needs to be removed to carry out the installation.

Anyone know if possible to install without the necessity to remove the bumper?

Almost anything is possible if ya try hard enough, but don't you have to drill the bumper?. Couple that with fitting the sensor correctly and running wires you'd just be creating a massive headache for yourself.
Give it an aul youtube search.

If you drill for sensors with the bumper still in place you'll have no idea what you're drilling into on the other side. Also no way of routing the wiring. Can't see how you'd do it without removing the bumper.

A lot of cars have a place on the bumper for a sensor, you have to push out the covering, it's a lot like the covering for a tow rope.

    What cars have this?

I’ve fitted hundreds of these kits to all sorts of cars when I was working & never had to remove a bumper (front or rear) but you have got to know what you are doing. Problems with the depth of the sensor, what’s behind the hole you’ll be drilling, running wires & making sure you don’t damage the finish around the sensor hole can make it tricky, and every car is different.

If you’re at all unsure or not confident in your abilities it’s worth letting a professional do it.

Thanks all for the replies but I am not sure if I need to remòve the bumper.
Some say yes and others say no.
