Cost per kilometre of using a Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec?

I recently got involved in a civil court case which has gone to the High Court in Dublin. This involves me driving from south Kilkenny to the Four Courts in Dublin in which I have clocked up more than 1,600 kilometres to date. How much per kilometre would I be entitled to charge for a Ford Fiesta 1.4 ? Are there tables published anywhere which shows the cost of various makes and sizes of cars per kilometre in this country ?

39.86 cent per km up to 1500km €597.90
73.21 cent per km for 1500-1600km €73.21

I an not so sure why the rate increases the further a person travels but that appears to be what the Civil Service is advocating.
