Just want to know if an one knows if the is a form or online fix that will undo an animal movement. A buyer moved a calf in error on me and I only just found out now and I want to sell the calf.

Calf was a bit off the day he came to collect so I kept him, I drew a line through the number on the movement papers and warned him but ....

Know a farmer who did the same thing before, the line through it didnt matter one bit, I made a mistake myself recently with movement certs too, best the CMMS on tuesday and explain the situation.

    Better living everyone

Put a line through it and then write the number of animals that moved on the cert. Ring them on Tuesday. Shouldn't be a problem

Would it not been easier to make the buyer take him?

Ah it was how I wouldn't sell him in case anything went wrong. Calf is sold since anyway only to sort the paperwork out. I could have got the original buyer to transfer him but seen as he's effed up the paperwork once I wouldn't trust him to do it right.
Easier have things straight when it comes to the department I find anyway.

Young lad bought calves off a dealer. They were put into the wrong herd. Took 2 weeks to sort it.

That would have been illegal since the calf wasn't physically in his herd.

Hopefully they are only showing one movement i.e. into your herd, iykwim.

Thanks for pointing that out, but I'd have dropped the calf to him the night before and we'd have notified the department of the change in movement date, nothing illegal I can reassure you, but it would just have been more work too.
