Hi, looking for recommendations for an accurate, easy to use thermometer ideally from an experienced user or medical professional.
    - which type eg Infra red/digital
    - reliable brands
    - practical functions

    Many thanks

I have the medicare infrared non contact digital thermometer. Its one of them ones that looks like a little speed gun (think there's a newer version available these days).

It has lasted me years and is still going.

Its easy to use, hygienic, digital reading, accurate and makes taking the temp of a poorly person that bit easier for them.

Read bodys or surface temp and can be set to Celsius or Fahrenheit, it has a little audible alarm to let you know if temp is too high (a sound I have come to dread).
