Looking to do some welding and do a bit of work in metal fabrication as a hobbie.
With the current climate there won't be any courses for a while. Any suggestions where I can start to learn a bit, possibly online.

    Open to all suggestions

    Mig-welding.co.uk site and forum
    Weld.com YouTube
    Weldingtipsandtricks.com

I liked chucke2009 on YouTube but he lost it a bit

Get good safety gear, auto darkening shield, gloves etc, be careful of fumes, there are many ways to maim or kill yourself. I even got a lovely sunburn from trying scratch start TIG.

I'm far from good at this, bought a welder to fix the car a few years back and put together a few projects, BBQ, forge etc. I've planned a few gym bits but need time and steel!

It's a lot of fun as a hobby but you'll spend a lot of cash on other tools and if you fall down a rabbit hole you'll end up with an empty wallet!
