Has anyone bought an ikea kitchen ..just trying to work out cost etc
Is the following a good estimate for a bodbyn range without appliances ?
    14 x cabinets - 3k
    Farmhouse sink - €180
    Tap - €120
    Countertop (custom made) - €750
    Fitting €1.5k?

    Any tips regarding design/fitting/ordering etc
    Thanks a mill

We got a quote just before Christmas. I think it came to about 10,000 with hob and ovens but keeping our dishwasher and fridge. This included an island and also cabinets and counter for the utility room. If I can find the exact quote I'll come back and let you know.

Fitting is pretty step. It’s a modular system that’s designed to be easily installed. Basic DIY skill will do

We went with an ikea kitchen back in 2016 with Double Oven, Induction Hob, Narrow dishwasher, sink, extractor delivered for about €5k. That included island, extra counter for utility. We went high gloss, with mostly drawers so would be comparable. Double oven is great, highly recommend - put it up high though.

Induction hob is very good, but the safety feature where it knocks off when a good bit water spills is a bit annoying.

I was recommended not to get their tap, to get that in a local plumbing provider - that way is a small part is needed a plumber will likely have it.

Cant comment of fitting, we fitted ours ourselves.

They’re rebranded Electrolux, avoid the most basic Lagan appliances as they are very much ehtery level, don’t think even the basic oven is a fan oven.
5 year warranty on the non-Lagan appliances.

    Get an integrated microwave too.
