My 3 rd service is sticking , normally once it’s starts it works away no prob but yesterday it was a pain , Last year I changed the hose fittings , I read that it could be a silt build up in the valve , anyone open one up and clean it , is it just open the nut on the side .

What loader is it? Usually nut on the top is only for removing the solenoid, you need a spanner then to remove the core from the valve block. Not often they would give trouble hydraulically.
I think it sounds more like you have an electrical problem in that you’re losing power to the solenoid randomly when the button is pressed. I’d say verify this part first, have seen buttons faulty, wiring broken inside the joystick tube, bad earths, bad power supplies, bad connections where it’s connected at the loader valve block etc. Have you looked at that end of it as a possible cause. One thing you could do to rule that out is wire a bulb into the same circuit as the solenoid, if it fails to light when operated, then you have electrical problem, if it does light but the 3rd service not working, then you’re into a hydraulic issue or solenoid is failing.
See how you go, let us know.

Had to replace the cable to ours last year, insulation on it was breaking down and shorting out the fuse on it. Have you definitely got power out there?
