Hi - looking for recommendations on what brand/make bicycle for a woman hopefully cycling to school/creche September with a 3 year old child in a rear seat.
Any advice tips would be appreciated. Where to buy or what type child seat etc. Its about a 2 km commute.

You can't go wrong with Thule when it comes to accessories like.

They usually are for children aged 9 months to 6 years or 48.5lbs/22KG

As for the bike ... this one is class :)https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/creme-caferacer-lady-uno-urban-bike-2020/rp-prod193404

Some of the seat require that you also install a rack on the bike by the way.

Not much to add but a small bit of advice is a double leg stand is a must and helps the weight transition when moving the child in and out of the seat. Also the lower the step through the easier it is to get on and off.

My wife swears by her Raleigh electric, she now goes out for long cycles with the kids and as we are in a hilly area the electric really helps to make it pleasurable.

I used one of these when transporting my young son on the bike a number of years ago. Quick release system for removing the seat, although the cross support bar that the seat attaches has to be bolted to the bike so it may not suit you. What I liked most about this seat was, the seat is up front so you can see and communicate with the child without turning around, weight of the child is distributed more evenly over the centre of the bike, the riders arms are to the sides of the child giving a better sense of security and if the child dozes off and slumps in the seat it doesn't adversely affect the balance of the bike or it's steering which is not always the case with rear carriers at least that's my experience. Hope that helps.
