What is the procedure to get a rented flat in Dublin?

boots on the ground is your best bet...

renting in Ireland is not fully the same as in the UK, a lot of private landlords...You can still go the property service supplier route, but you'll probably pay top dollar going that way through a rental agent..

That said, you will probably have similar protections that you have when renting with a rental agent in the UK.

Private or agent route, you'll need some credit reference support... if none of it is from Ireland, expect to front a significant amount of rent initially...

if you're single, come over with the bare minimum and lodge or rent a room until you build some credit history and some payslips in Ireland

    if not:
    rent.ie
    daft.ie
    myhome.ie

are the Irish equivalent of Zoopla and Rightmove
