I have a plastic fairing that was cracked and split. I've plastic welded it back together and rubbed it smooth but there is sun bleached red paint as well as bare black ABS to cover.

I have a compressor and spray gun and most of the related hardware and my ambition is to complete the painting kit and spray this piece and all other bits black (all but the red front fairing is already black but need to be refinished.

Can you please suggest the best method regarding things like the adhesion promoters and so on to cover the repaired bare plastics? Which brands of materials are available here (US or Aus/ NZ videos always mention unavailable chemicals).

    Cheers!

Google Vinny Byrne paints. They’re in Dublin but still trading online. You’ll need plastic primer for the plastics. Have a look at mad4motors on YouTube for the Irish instructional versions for doing this. He does a lot with spray cans. Like all painting, it’s all in the prep work.
