    I tried them. One thing about them is that they’re noisy. If you have a really old dryer from the 90s they might help stop clothes stocking together, newer machines change the direction the drum turns every few minutes, and that helps stop this happening. I don’t think they reduce drying time, and it’s quite common to lose one in a duvet or other clothes.

    On balance. They’re a bit of a pain and I don’t think they’re of any great use.
