The Great Forum Games weekly Photoshop Competition

Something new for everyone. From now until 21:00 next Sunday , here is the chance to enter our very first weekly Photoshop competition! This is the image you must "shop" to be eligible for entry(thanks Necro)

Here are the rules:

1. No pornographic images.

2. No real-life displays of violence (faux-violence is fine)

3. Nothing libelous.

4. Nothing naughty, basically. Use your common sense.


The winner will be chosen by thanked posts, and I will decide the winner if there's a tie-break. Remember that you have a week to enter, so feel free to be as creative as possible

You may enter as often as you like.

Host you images on imgur and the like

Try to keep it under 800x500 pixels please or I'll bate ya.

If anyone has any ideas for the image we should use for next week's competition, feel free to PM them to me*

*Assuming it's popular enough to sustain interest for more than one week.

you can use really anything these days to alter images, on phone I use an App called PicsArt which is really easy and fun to use, I personally use decent programmes on desktop, used to use photoshop but now use Affinity Photo, but there is plenty of free ones like GIMP, PicMonkey and Canva.

It would all be for a bit of fun during Lockdown anyways so the more surreal, and like the MSPaint games the worse the better

I have no suitable program, no laptop, no experience, no artistic ability and no good ideas

What I'm saying is, I'll give it a go
I'll try that PicsArt app on my phone, would be cool to learn something new like that

I'm with EN, a new fun skill.... I've no idea how to even attempt this, being non-techy (and rather thick). Shall see what apps are compatible with my cheapo chromebook.

So (basically) you superimpose images onto yours, is that right?

You can alter the images in any way to make them fun, have a look at the link to the old ones in the link above.. towards the end of that thread you will really see what can be done

GIMP probably works best on Chromebook Deja, it's probably one of the better free alternatives too
