Wage Subsidy and return to work on short hours.

Can't really find anything online about this, so I hope this is in the right place.

I'm on the wage subsidy scheme, topped up by employer to receive 100% of my wages.

Returning to work in the coming days, but we're returning under very limited hours, which results in an approximately 50% cut to my usual hours (approx. 20 hours per week instead of my usual 40-42).

There hasn't been much correspondence about how this will affect us financially, except to say that we can contact them with queries after passing two pay periods - I assume this is something to do with tax.

So my question is, is there anything financially in place for people in my position? If I return to work under the new limits, I'll be taking a circa 50% pay cut because I'm not salaried, and I can't afford to live like that. I can for a couple of weeks because of savings, but it won't be feasible financially for much longer than that.

    Cheers guys.
