Are you having issues with virgin media this evening? Went down at 5 for me so looks like I'm clocking out now.

Here's I'll have to talk to me family this evening. I wonder what they're like...

Has been rock solid until this afternoon, so not a load issue - probably someone made a change and buggered things up.

They're trying to get on top of card sharing in the UK,hence the outages while they patch their security issues.

Kildare here. SIRO is available... ditching these guys. All I get for my troubles is constant outages and annual service increases that are supposed to reduce said outages

Just to chuck a standard AH response in......

Internet should be limited to essential working from home people for the next few months of the emergency to prevent interruption to the essential sectors.

Jacinta and Joaquin's Netflix/Disney+ fix as they're stuck inside can get stuffed.*

    * Monthly payment will still be required. See terms and conditions.

Bang on. Not to mention that the same AH poster would then be complaining if it did happen because they can't watch the end of Better Call Saul at 10am.

Working wired only. Not working wireless in Dublin here since about 7.30pm.
As an aside just logged into my router and they seem to have disabled users from switching WiFi channels?. Probably because of their smart WiFi?.

Disable smart WiFi and you’re able to change channels yourself

What a pain. Then I switch WiFi off on my phone and my three.ie 4g isn’t working either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,636 ✭✭✭Homelander

Does anyone know why my 4G on my phone would be lightning fast, but when I tether, it's unusable slow? Tried USB tether and wifi hotspot, both give speeds so bad that it's like dial up....but on the phone itself, it's full speed.

A breakdown in telecommunications now would be the final move

They are preparing us and within 24hrs of blackout new controls and structures could be in place

The sound of tanks on the road at dawn

Good luck to all in these final hours
