    Hi there
I have sale agreed on a property that was repossessed by a bank. The water supply is disconnected, do I just turn it on again at the mains outside the house?

What is the correct procedure for getting it back on?

    Thx, Niall

    Hi Niall O Laoghaire,
    Hi there

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Typically, supply can be switched on/off to a property using the outside stop valve located in the meter box, when safe to do so. However, as this property was repossessed, we would recommend that you get in touch if the supply is disconnected.

Please contact us on 1850 278 278 and speaking to a member of our New Connections department who will be able to advise you regarding this matter. Our New Connections department is open between 9am-5:30pm from Monday to Friday.

    We hope this information helps.

    Kind regards,
    Niamh
