    Seriously

Why are the people in ringsend being applauded for that video of the group dancing
Quick look on Twitter and the locals out defending it to the high heavens and they think it's ok to do cause they Are salt of the earth.
Why do they think they are any different

Did anyone also see the video from Donaghmeade.

Seems being a sponger allows you to break the rules of science

Actually there is no strong/conclusive scientific evidence to support social distancing

So you're ok with certain groups of people doing as they please as long as they cry they are salt of the earth from a good community with good folk?

You might be as good as to provide links to the videos.

Secondly, you might explain why you describe those involved as 'spongers'

Living in free housing designated for people who can't be arsed working and are salt of the earth so it allows them to do whatever they want.
Spongers of the highest degree they make me sick

I love the phrase 'salt of the earth' , always used to describe scum, its accurate considering how abrasive salt is and how much it damages things like paint on cars .

    Is this it?

I watched about 15 seconds of it, and that looks like social distancing to me?

Peasants relieving boredom and trying to keep their spirits up will never do.

It literally says they were social distancing in the very headline of the article you linked to.

Families take part in socially-distanced mass dance in Dublin:confused:

Relax chief - you're obviously of "better stock" than them. Don't let them get to you. /Sarcasm

You've no proof or any information to say that then, you just want to go on stereotype.

No one has said "salt of the earth" or that they should be allowed "do whatever they want". You're getting worked up over your own prejudice, not the reality.

A group of people dancing, as viewed from the air and practicing social distancing while doing so.

What's the big deal? They are within 2km of their homes and 2m apart.

    🙈🙉🙊

They are 2 m apart. And in the Donaghmeade video apparantly the only children close to each other were in the same family. The family units were keeping 2 m apart.

    They are obeying the rules.

You obviously have a gross prejudice and can't be at all relied upon to give objective or even sane views. The language in your opening post is well ...bizarre.

Its always strange how these threads attract people who are obviously not well.

Describing people based on their address from a 5 sec video as 'scum' 'spongers' is not rational and not emotionally stable.

You seem unbalanced, fanatical and not in a right frame of mind.

I suggest you go away from the keyboard for a moment and rethink.

How did you get to this fanatical point of view?

Shouldn't be more than 4 to a 'group'

They say when you are the smartest person the room you should leave. I think you should leave the thread.

    That is a compliment.

Anyone who seen the donaghmede video have said and people there said social distancing wasn't adhered too.

They were talking about it on 98fm today.

Someone there said when they done rock the boat social distancing slipped.

Lord mayor of Dublin drove there and witnessed huge groups drinking in gardens etc

So extra sweating and movement from dancing and not to mention the aul wans with their Burberry trollies and 20 silk cut purple doesn't have any effect on your distance space?
    Gotcha

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,211 ✭✭✭✭ILoveYourVibes

Have you seen online videos of matt damon in dalkey **** all social distancing ..he standing with his arm around strangers. They are all still licking his arse.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 703 ✭✭✭Fuascailteoir

Don't see anything wrong with it given they are keeping apart ... apart from the fact it is awful cringeworthy stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 295 ✭✭gourcuff

the terminology used is bizarre, how do you know anything about the people in the video?

never got people feeling superior to other people based on where the corporation decided to house their family...

Mod: Stupid thread, sorry. They are social distancing.

    Locked.
