No, it comes with 7 free games including Serious Sam, Grid etc

    Serious Sam is great fun.

Had some problems with connectivity at peak times, but definitely worth a look.

That brings me to a signup page. Dont want to sign up if i cant play it. Do you have to buy a joystick and chromecast to play?

Where do you get them? Once you get them can you then get the free trial?

You only need a controller and chromecast to play on TV - you can play on your tablet/PC/laptop with a keyboard or any controller that will work with your device.

I'm a big fan of the platform, and the games included with Pro subscriptions are decent. I've more games than time to play them all.

Just a bit of help if anybody is getting a constant "checking your connection" close the page down and opening it in incognito mode. It should work then.

    Thanks OP for the share

Does it have to be chromecast ultra or any normal chromecast?

Go into the store, the button on the bottom left of the phone app. Scroll down to "Stadia Pro games" and click 'claim' on the ones you want. May as well claim them all.

"Stadia Pro deals" are ones on sale at a discount but not free.

When signing up through my Android, it only gave me the option of my cards or PayPal. Phone credit wasn't an option.

Just tried playing PUBG on stadia via my laptop. Almost unplayable. Input lag, frame drops, blurred graphics. I'm on a decent connection, so don't know what the issue is. Terrible compared to playing on Xbox, and even Xbox isn't great compared to PC.

Yeah I tried to play grid and it was crazy lag and dropped frames. That was over WiFi but I'm not sure a wired connection would make much difference. The chromecast ultra is wireless after all. I can now see why they are giving two months away free.
