Wrong locking wheel nut with car

    Hi folks,

I have recently bought an second hand Nissan Qashqai 2017 Tekna and went to get the tyres changed at the weekend. Turns out the locknut that came with the car doesn't fit the bolts on the wheels.

I have checked with the previous owner and he doesn't have it. Any ideas how to sort this as no local nissan garages are open and I don't have any information or books with the car that would five me the lock nut code.

I really need to change the tyres as they are dangerous at this stage.

    Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the response. It is a six point star one. Similar to the one you posted but with one less point. Interestingly the lockdown nut I have has 7 points on it so maybe they lock nuts were changed from the originals.

ya breaking them off in the current climate is prob the only answer.
what we would do if a customers car had this issue is drive to the main dealer with the car and use there set to find the correct lock nut and order one. unfortunately at this time km not really sure what way dealers are working
