Using left over emulsion on ply

    Hi,

I’ve some leftover Matt colourtrend paint I used to paint my walls. I’ve a birch ply desk (unvarnished etc) I would like to make match the walls.

Is there any way I can use this paint on the ply? Will it stick?

If it will, what could I put over it to make it tough enough to withstand use as a desk

Paint it. Then lacquer it. Yes.

    Thanks listermint.

Would the end result be quite shiny if I did this?

Would something like Rustoleum crystal clear Matt spray do the job?
