    Hi all
I have use of a weedlicker this year and I have grazon pro

1 I was wondering will it kill thistles and nettles

I have 100l tank what's the general mixing for weed licking

Also how much would a full tank do

I haven't done my homework on this yet so I said I'd throw it out to the experts
    Thanks

You’ll save a fair bit just using a generic glyphosate product. Gallup or some such.
That’s the beauty of the weed licker. It’s doing the selective application so you don’t need an expensive selective product.

We’ve only used a licker on rushes and you can bring the concentration down to 1%’and it works fine.

So if you were using Gallup on thistles and nettles you would mix it 1l to the full 100l tank
    Or in that ratio

I’ve never used it for thistle or nettles. Maybe someone else has experience on these.

I never found Gallup as good in the weedlicker as Roundup. But then again the mixing ratio can be strange on the labels for the lickers, Roundup has a ridiculously strong ratio of 400ml of product to 1l of water which would kill all & sundry. I normally use 20l to 1.5l for rushes, do a double pass and get perfect kill.

Use Rosate 360 here. A cheaper alternative to roundup. 1.2ltr of rosate per 20ltr water. Did some weedlicking during week, next 10days will show how I got on. Don't forget a squirt of washing up liquid to get it to stick a bit better.

Depends on how many rushes and how thick. I would think 20ltrs would do 1 acre to 1.5 acres based on what I did during the week. Also my weeklicker had 2 no. 5 gallon drums so less refilling.
