Did anyone else VRT a car at the start of March and still not receive their logbook? At the start I just assumed the delay was due to the Covid lockdown etc. But I’m wondering if I should start calling them?

If this is a fresh import then you have to tax the car first before they will issue the logbook. You can log into the motortax.ie website using the car's reg and last 6 or 7 digits of the car's VIN as the passcode. Once you tax it then the logbook will be processed and posted out.
