During this lockdown I have been using my time to done some DIY. Unfortunately I am now running out of materials. I need about 3 sheets of 8 x 4' plywood as well as some 2x 2" and 2 x 4". If I had these materials I would be able to occupy myself.

Can anyone advise where I could get these materials from? Online hardware shop perhaps?
    I live in Co. Wicklow.

    Many thanks.

TJ O'Mahony are delivering. They're a little slower than usual it seems, but they are operating.

I'm waiting well over a week for a small timber delivery from them. No response to my follow up email during the week either. Any idea on lead times at the minute?

Ordered on Wed and they rang afterwards to swap a couple of things and said will be delivered on Monday. Maybe depends on what branch delivering from. Mine coming from Glasnevin even though I'm in south Dublin

Yes, they will deal with HSE and emergency maintenance only.

I just placed an order with them (Ballymount branch), thank you!
Fingers crossed I will get it by next weekend.

Had a similar issue myself, rang them up and they said that they were waiting on some of my order to get delivered to my local branch. Give them a call, after I called them I had my order the next day.

A couple more options - but delivery might be tricky.

    - Wood Industries in Rathdrum were open last time I checked but delivery services were limited - I can't imagine them not being open for collection, they're a big place. Huge stock of sheet good and timber.
    - Burke Hardware in Rathnew are also taking orders for building supplies; pay over the phone and then collect at the warehouse entrance (they do limited sheet goods; framing timber, OSB, MDF, construction ply and marine ply. I don't know if they're still doing deliveries (they do under normal circumstances).

They're absolutely up the walls at the moment. You will get them though.
