    Hi,

I have an Ariva 252 that I haven’t used for a while, it works good but I wanted to see if anyone knows if I can pair it’s remote with the TV so I only need one, the remote is a RCU500 v2

    Thanks

    Esto

A better option may be to get a Harmony remote. There's a good selection on Amazon UK. I have a 650 that I got from them 5/6 yrs ago and its an excellent remote. As far as I know, I don't think you can train the Ariva remote to do what the Harmony can do.

    Depends on the TV

If the Ariva supports CEC then you can control many functions with passthrough from the TV remote. Doesn't look like though.

There are several Sharp TV's that RF and no third party remote will control them.
