Any Star Trek fans out there?

    Answer this one.
    If there are lots of different types of ships, and boats that exist today. (I mean the list is literally mind boggling.)

    Why doesn’t the federation (from the Star Trek universe) have any space ship fighter carriers?

    Because no other species does (drones excepted)

    Depends on what you see as canon or not. The Sovereign class did have a fighter bay as envisioned by the designer. The Universe class starships would have been able to carry starships and many fighter wings. Similar to the Executor class super star destroyers in the Star Wars universe.

    Yes but still, if you look at the whole Star Trek universe, there are no dedicated fighter carriers. It doesn’t make sense because the offensive capability of ships like these, even in the real world is so huge!

    Depends on what you see as canon or not. The Sovereign class did have a fighter bay as envisioned by the designer. The Universe class starships would have been able to carry starships and many fighter wings. Similar to the Executor class super star destroyers in the Star Wars universe.

    In almost every other universe, dedicated carriers or even fighter carriers are built and used to devastating effect.
    And the reason why they are so under used, and without explanation is puzzling, to say the least.
