Anything should consider when quality branded tool highly reduced like this?....

Makita impact-driver reduced 70% - I'm probably not bying because doesn't suit me to go for Makita battery/charger system etc too, but wondering are there usually some reasons or things to look out for when a top branded item is so heavily reduced? like maybe in terms of future-proofing or something?

Cant see where theres a 70% reduction at all

Not reduced at all imo add shouldn't show the battery imo as it gives you the impression that get the battery

120 euro here in Ireland and 159 sterling in the UK

The RRP is misleading but it's almost £100 cheaper than powertoolworld where I usually get my tools online.

Seems like a bargain.

The orignal model seems to have a digital 4mode torque setting but the add is wrong scroll down a bit more and you can get batteries and charger for about 308 pounds no mention of a case

Thanks for quick replies, yep I knew the battery&charger would need be bought separate alright, = main reason I'm not so tempted. Just seemed like the impact driver itself was still going cheap though maybe

If you are a complete novice you probably aren't going to get full use out of a tool like that. The other point about it which makes it a decent tool is that its brushless that also puts it in a price bracket above similar tools that use brushes.

You will get massive variations in price especially on Amazon. Decide what you really need and watch the price camelcamelcamel.com will give you an idea if its worth waiting for a better deal https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B07MQF12DZ shows this tool was as low as £126 back in February but also as much as £255. The prices are put up so they can be put down again if that makes any sense
