Can somebody advise? I run sheep on a neighbours ground at this time of year. He is in Glas. He has excess grass cover and let's me run ewes and lambs till weaning in July. We were chatting today about topping later on or maybe chancing a few bales off excess paddocks. What's the rules for this? is it June the 1st ot July 15th.. Also, can you apply slurry after? plz

I presume it is LIPP ground. Earliest topping is July 15th neither can it be semi closed for silage taken after that.

It's July 1st. After that you can Top. It was July 15th in early days but changed few years ago.
